This market does not necessarily follow the trends of the normal residential real estate markets. Historic home enthusiasists generally monitor the homes that come on the market and wait until the perfect home for them becomes available for sale. The charts below cover all sales greater than $300,000 in the counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange and the city of Charlottesville. Data is taken from the Charlottesville Association of Realtors, so sales outside of this MLS are not included.
